A town needs a heart. One that reflects it’s character and supports it’s residents.

The Kyneton and District Town Square Co-Op has battled for nine years to advocate for a town centre that brings us together and that we can be proud of.

The journey began with residents coming together to preserve the historic Kyneton Primary School building. The Co-Op was then formed to advocate for the site to become a community-led resource for the town. Since inception the Co-Op has matured and expanded the scope of it activities. We now foster multiple community efforts to protect local land and waterways, improve urban design, and develop a healthy, warm, resident-friendly town.
